Identifying My Own Game

I’ve been reflecting on a common struggle: unknowingly pursuing success by others’ standards rather than my own. Clarity about personal values is essential to meaningful living.

Understanding Trade-offs

Life fundamentally involves choosing which trade-offs to accept. Every ambition carries costs—time, relationships, stability, or comfort. The critical question is whether you genuinely accept these costs. When you identify your personal game, you distinguish between trade-offs worth making and those you should reject, ensuring daily actions align with authentic values rather than external expectations.

Playing Your Own Game

True clarity requires honest introspection: What genuinely matters to you? What outcomes resonate deeply? Once your game becomes clear, decision-making simplifies—you’re no longer chasing vague success or validation but moving intentionally toward fulfillment aligned with who you actually are.

My personal framework includes family time, creative work, and physical wellness—priorities often overshadowed when unconsciously following others’ games. Defining my personal game didn’t simplify life itself but made choices clearer and more meaningful.
