I do not want confidence markers to only act like a police force.
They are also a license. They let me say the half-formed thing without pretending it is finished. They keep uncertainty from becoming either performance or silence.
That matters because good thinking often begins below high confidence. The system should make that honest enough to work with, not shame it out of the room.
