This site is built to be read by your agent, not just you.

One thing I keep poking at is whether texture, the orientation behind your words, is the layer AI keeps dropping. So I encoded mine here. Copy a prompt, point your agent at it, and see if it unlocks anything you've been working on.

A fitness app should be a companion, not a coach

mar 25 2026

The tools I use are great at building and tracking a single workout. What none of them do is account for the whole program, or your life. I follow real programming, but I also play recreational sports, I have mobility stuff, and the week never lands the same way twice. So I end up doing the adapting manually, backing the weight down because I didn’t sleep, moving a day because life happened, layering in the core work the program skips.

The thing I keep coming back to is a ‘not feeling it today’ button that doesn’t guilt me. Instead of nagging me about a missed workout, it keeps the thread going: here’s a minimum useful dose today, nice walk, you played basketball last night so let’s lighten the hamstrings and add that volume somewhere else. I don’t want an AI coach and I don’t want to replace a trainer. I want a companion for someone who just wants to get a little stronger, hit their protein, sleep well, and keep the rhythm going so it actually lasts.

If an app could adapt to your real week instead of guilting you for missing it, would you actually stick with it longer?
