Public notes should make generous disagreement easier to start.
That might be one of the best tests.
Not did everyone agree?
Not did the note sound impressive?
Did it create enough context for someone to disagree well?
Could someone say:
I see what you mean.
Here is where I see it differently.
Here is the context you may be missing.
That is a much better conversation than a clean take with no doorway back.
