The archive should let old language mature in public.
That does not mean pretending every old phrase is still perfect.
It means leaving enough of the path visible.
Some language gets sharper over time.
Some gets softer.
Some gets replaced.
Some still points at the right thing, even if the framing has changed.
The archive can hold that.
The current lens can help interpret it.
Together, they make evolution visible without needing to erase the earlier version.
