That matters because a public notebook can become overwhelming fast. If every idea arrives with the full archive attached, the reader has to decide whether they are interested enough to study the whole system. Most people will not be.
The first answer should be generous and light. It should give enough shape to understand the thought, then make another useful doorway feel close by: a related note, a sharper question, a reply prompt, a source trail, or a more complete essay.
They should not feel like the first answer came with homework.
They should feel like the conversation stayed open.
