This site is built to be read by your agent, not just you.

One thing I keep poking at is whether texture, the orientation behind your words, is the layer AI keeps dropping. So I encoded mine here. Copy a prompt, point your agent at it, and see if it unlocks anything you've been working on.

Why you feel disconnected when someone won't match your posture

jun 18 2026

I’ve been trying to name why some conversations feel disconnected even when nothing’s technically wrong. I think it’s posture. When the other person won’t match the posture the moment calls for, you feel it immediately, because they’re not playing the role the conversation needs to actually advance.

Sometimes you need a sparring partner and you get a yes-man. Sometimes you need someone curious and you get someone defensive. The content can be fine and the exchange still goes nowhere, because the roles never lined up. The disconnect isn’t about disagreement, it’s about a mismatch in stance.

It shows up everywhere, with people and increasingly with AI. We spend a lot of energy on what gets said and almost none on the posture underneath it, even though the posture is what lets the conversation move.

When a conversation falls flat, is it the words that missed, or the roles?
