A public note should carry enough context to be fair.
Not all context.
Enough.
A note can be small and still be responsible.
It can make one thought easier to say without pretending the thought arrived without texture.
That is the balance.
Too much context and the note collapses under its own setup.
Too little context and the thought becomes easy to flatten.
The note should give the reader enough to meet the idea honestly.
The deeper graph can hold the rest.
