A public note should invite the right reply.
That is different from trying to be impressive.
Different from trying to be viral.
Different from trying to sound finished.
The better question is:
What would someone useful say back?
Would they challenge it?
Add a missing example?
Name a related idea?
Point to a better source?
Ask the question underneath it?
That is the kind of public thinking I want more of.
The note is not the end of the thought.
It is the invitation.
If the right person replies, the note worked.
