The right people need a way to find the thread.
That is one reason the public layer matters.
Not because everything needs to become content.
Not because every thought needs an audience.
But because some people are thinking about adjacent problems, and they need enough signal to recognize the overlap.
That is hard if the work only exists in unpublished conversations.
It is also hard if the public version becomes too polished.
The thread gets hidden under the performance.
The better surface should make the shape of the thinking findable.
What keeps recurring?
What is being tested?
What changed over time?
What is still a question?
What kind of conversation would be useful?
That kind of public trail can create better introductions.
Not louder ones.
Better ones.
Someone should be able to land on the site and think:
this person is wrestling with the same kind of thing I am.
That is enough.
That is the thread.
