The archive should keep the old trail without making it the current path

jun 03 2026 what things mean

The archive should keep the old trail without making it the current path.

That is a subtle boundary.

Old thinking can stay visible.

It can still matter.

It can explain where the current thought came from.

But it should not accidentally lead as if nothing changed.

The archive keeps the trail.

The current lens names the path.

Both are useful.

They just have different jobs.
