Questions often age better than conclusions.

They show what kept returning.

They show what was unresolved.

They show where the current thought did not appear from nowhere.

That is part of why backfilling matters.

The archive is not only a record of what was published.

It can become a way to notice patterns that were hard to see from inside the moment.

An old question can become a new doorway.
