A field note can be a question with context.
It does not always need to become a point.
Sometimes the question is the useful thing.
But a bare question can feel thin.
Context gives it weight.
Why am I asking this?
What keeps making it come up?
What would change if the answer were different?
Who might see it differently?
That is enough for a note.
Not a finished argument.
Not an essay.
A question worth carrying forward.
