A good introduction is an orientation, not a pitch.

The pitch tries to convince.

The orientation helps someone understand.

That is the better posture for this site.

That feels more honest than trying to compress a whole person into a selling point.

The goal is not to close the reader.

The goal is to make a better first conversation possible.
