Public thinking should preserve unfinished edges.
The goal is not mess.
The goal is honesty.
Some thoughts are useful because they are still moving.
They are not ready to become a neat doctrine.
They are trying to find the shape of the question.
Public notes can make that movement legible without pretending it is complete.
Clean enough to read.
Open enough to continue.
That is the balance.
If every edge gets polished away, the note may become easier to share and less worth talking about.
