Not every note carries the same weight.
Some are strong patterns.
Some are live guesses.
Some are only useful because they point at a better question.
The source trail should help a reader feel that difference.
Not with a long caveat.
Just enough signal to know how to hold the thought.
Confidence is part of the context.
